Jana and her family spent a beautiful June Sunday working with other community volunteers to "Paint the Town" for needy homes and neighborhood improvements. Elderly recipients are nominated by friends and neighbors to help improve their homes and provide a service that may not be affordable. In 2012 approximately 68 Boise homes were provided a fresh coat of paint all donated by generous hardware stores and private/corporate sponsorship. In 31 years, NHSID have painted over 3,000 homes.
