GCS continued the holiday giving tradition this year to support local communities to receive a donation. As a part of our annual giving campaign, our staff selects organizations that support the communities in which we live and work to receive a donation. The following organization received a gift from GCS on behalf of our area clients.
For Our Idaho Clients:
We have donated to the Boise Urban Garden School to contribute to helping kids learn organic gardening and healthy eating habits. We have also donated to the Mentoring Youth Supporting Teens (MYST) program to give support to junior and senior high students to aid them in being positive contributors in their local communities.
For Our Florida Clients:
We have contributed to the Foundation for Mitochondrial Medicine to help support the development of research and treatments of mitochondrial disease.
For Our Oregon & Washington Clients:
We have donated to the Camp Fire, which offers a place for youth to learn, grown, and enjoy nature through a variety of programs and service learning. In addition, the Kids Center which is an organization that is dedicated to the prevention, evaluation and treatment of child abuse.
For our Wisconsin Clients:
We have supported A Place to Bark to help aid in the rescue and adoption of animals.
